I̊bbānàj̼ Se (/ˈi̘bbəˑ/ /nəj̼/ [west] [sorry]) is a subtropical Large Town located in the Zåkräf Region of the Tetbur Commune.

The name I̊bbānàj̼ Se is derived from the Tauric language, as I̊bbānàj̼ Se was founded by Dith́a Allen Víhgā, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

I̊bbānàj̼ Se has a yearly average temperature of 30°C (86°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 34°C (93°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 27°C (80°F). I̊bbānàj̼ Se receives an average of 259 cm/y (101 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. I̊bbānàj̼ Se covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 3154 m (10347 ft) above sea level.

Overview

I̊bbānàj̼ Se was founded durring the early 14th century in winter of the year 1302, by Dith́a Allen Víhgā. The establishment of I̊bbānàj̼ Se suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of I̊bbānàj̼ Se which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

I̊bbānàj̼ Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and I̊bbānàj̼ Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

I̊bbānàj̼ Se is buildings are arranged arround a network of narrow flagstone streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town rests behind a thin stone wall. The wall's design was likly directly copied from a castle's parmiter defences. It's simply that the arcatect made I̊bbānàj̼ Se's wall substancialy thinner than a castle's walls. While the towers and gatehouses are adiquite, the obvious cost savings measure of making the walls drasticaly thinner reduces their ability to resist siege weapons greatly. The town's impressive-looking wall could fail at a critical moment in battle, and would likely not even resist a few bandits with improvised siege equipment. I̊bbānàj̼ Se's budget oriented has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

A look around I̊bbānàj̼ Se gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. This all rests atop the unmistakable impression the town is one of the strictest places imaginable. Everyone’s actions are clearly directed by laws they keep in heart and mind at all times. Orderly byond order is a phrase which I̊bbānàj̼ Se brings to mind.

I̊bbānàj̼ Se possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Large Town. I̊bbānàj̼ Se's grid is powered by mana accumulators.

I̊bbānàj̼ Se's old civil lighting system was converted to Galvanic Lamps recently, and expanded to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.

They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for I̊bbānàj̼ Se's natural decorations nor waterways.

I̊bbānàj̼ Se has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

I̊bbānàj̼ Se has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

I̊bbānàj̼ Se's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by grandeur of scale, simplicity of geometric forms, dramatic use of columns, and a preference for blank walls. This design ethos extended to re-imagining earlier styles of structure to create them anew, with a similar overall look and feel to one another..
